Bruce is a small community with a population of 204 as of the 2010 Census. We are located 14 miles Northwest of Brookings, 10 miles south of Estelline, 6 miles from Oakwood State Park (http://www.stateparks.com/oakwood_lakes.html) or (http://www.sdlakesandstreams.com/LakeDirectory.html) and 5 miles West of I-29. We may be a small town but proud of our roots. Bruce has a beautiful Ball Park with a Kids' Park across from it.
